Renowned South African designer Gert-Joan Coetzee showcased his couture brilliance at the 2023 Miss Universe pageant in El Salvador as R’Bonney Nola Gabriel, the 72nd Miss Universe, took her final walk.

Styled by Werner Wessels, the gown featured a plunging neckline, off-shoulder design, and intricate embellishments resembling scales and fins. The midsection was sculpted like armor, creating an extraordinary masterpiece that symbolizes both couture excellence and the empowerment of women

As R’Bonney bid farewell to her Miss Universe reign, she did so in a stunning creation that pays tribute to the indomitable spirit of women worldwide.
