Nollywood actress Victoria Inyama has opened up about her past marriage, accusing her ex-husband, Godwin Okrim, of physical, mental, and psychological abuse. In an interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo, Inyama shared traumatic experiences, revealing that physical violence was triggered by her ex-husband’s reactions to football matches, particularly when his favorite team, Manchester United, lost.

Inyama stated that the abuse extended beyond physical violence, with instances where her ex-husband would bring his girlfriends into their home, allowing them to dictate household matters, even instructing her on what to cook. Despite the challenging circumstances, Inyama emphasized that she never fought back physically, and in moments of desperation, she prayed for intervention.

Reflecting on her decision to leave the marriage, Inyama expressed gratitude for her three children, whom she considers her diamonds born out of the fire she endured. She stressed that despite the challenges, she has no regrets and believes in the importance of going through difficulties to uncover valuable lessons and treasures.
