Courage Chioma Okoli, known for her role as Wosilat on Ndani TV’s Skinny Girl In Transit (SGIT), recently revealed how she landed the role in the popular series.

In an interview with Chude, Okoli shared that she took a bold step by texting a TV station through Instagram, stating that she was a theatre student and expressing her interest in auditioning. Impressed by her audition, the producers offered her a contract, and she has been part of the show for seven years now.

When asked about the motivation behind her action, Okoli humorously attributed it to her name, Courage.

Aside from SGIT, Okoli has appeared in other projects such as Red TV’s Unintentional (2021), the drama short film Mighty (2022), and the Africa Magic series My Flatmates.

Fans can catch Okoli’s comedic performances in new episodes of SGIT, airing every Friday on Ndani TV’s YouTube channel.
