At the 80th birthday celebration of former senator Florence Ita Giwa, actress Iyabo Ojo delivered a standout fashion moment that fully embraced the brief: head-to-toe red with unapologetic glamour.

Ojo arrived in a floor-length scarlet gown by Medlin Couture, cut in a strapless mermaid silhouette with a structured sweetheart neckline. The design followed a sculpted line through the body before flaring subtly at the hem, creating a classic hourglass shape with a modern, body-contouring finish.

What elevated the look further was the detailing across the bodice, tonal floral and swirling appliqué work that added depth and texture to the vibrant red base without interrupting its impact. The result was a dress that felt both bold and refined, with craftsmanship doing the talking.

Styling remained intentional and cohesive. Layered gold necklaces sat neatly at the neckline, while stacked red beaded bracelets and a crystal accent bracelet added rhythm to the wrists. Pointed red heels peeked through the hem, reinforcing the monochromatic direction from head to toe.

Her beauty look stayed in sync with the outfit’s intensity: long, loose hair and a matching red lip that tied the entire aesthetic together without overpowering it.

In a room full of celebration and high fashion moments, Iyabo Ojo’s look stood out for its clarity of vision, proof that when colour, silhouette, and styling align, simplicity becomes the loudest statement.
