Veteran Yoruba actress Grace Owoola just turned 96, and naturally, she was not letting the milestone pass without a proper fashion moment.

Grace

Known for playing the unforgettable Iya Oshogbo in Eran Iya Oshogbo, Grace stepped in front of photographer Oluwatosin Victoria’s lens for a birthday shoot that paid homage to the character that made her a household name.

The standout portrait sees her barefoot on sand in a vibrant pink buba and iro, an emerald-green gele and layers of coral beads. Sitting beside her is a black goat, bringing a cheeky nod to Eran Iya Oshogbo.

Another look keeps things glamorous, with Grace smiling in a sequined maroon ensemble, patterned ipele and matching headwrap.

96 looks good on her, and that’s the post.
