Ayo Edebiri clearly did not believe one bow was enough.

The actor arrived at the 2026 Emmys in custom Chanel, wearing a cornflower-blue gown that looked sweet from the front and dramatically different from the back. The real fashion moment came when she turned around.

At the front, the dress featured a V-neckline and tiered A-line silhouette finished with an oversized bow. Turn around, and the look takes a much bolder direction, with a second, even larger bow in bright orange trailing dramatically behind her.

That unexpected colour clash gave the otherwise soft blue gown a playful edge, while the exaggerated proportions made the dress impossible to ignore.

Edebiri kept the accessories polished but playful, adding Mikimoto pearl earrings and statement rings before finishing the look with silver pumps. Her beauty look stayed sophisticated with soft blush, smoky eyes and a berry-toned lip, while her braids were pulled into a sleek updo.

Beyond the fashion, the Emmys marked another milestone for Edebiri. She earned her fifth Emmy nomination for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series for her performance as Sydney Adamu in The Bear, marking her third consecutive nomination in the category.

She previously won an Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for the FX series in 2023.
