Beyoncé has revealed the title of her upcoming album, “Cowboy Carter,” which is set to be the long-awaited “Act II” of her 2022 “Renaissance” album. The country music project is scheduled for release on March 29.

Two singles have already been released from the album: “16 Carriages” and the chart-topping “Texas Hold ‘Em.” The latter marked Beyoncé’s first No. 1 country single in the U.S. and made her the first Black woman to achieve this feat.

On her website, Beyoncé showcased the album’s theme with a photo of a horse saddle adorned with a red, white, and blue sash reading “Country Carter.” Limited edition CDs and vinyl variants, along with box sets featuring a bonus track and T-shirts, are available for pre-order.

Fans have eagerly awaited new music from Beyoncé since the release of “Renaissance” in 2022. The album is part of a “three-act project,” with rumors suggesting a mix of dance and country songs. The first installment of “Renaissance” focused on dance and house music, celebrating the Black queer community and club culture.

The release of “Cowboy Carter” follows Beyoncé’s record-breaking world tour, which grossed $579 million, and the theatrical debut of “Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé,” a documentary-concert film. Beyoncé recently released the single “My House,” paying homage to her Houston roots, after the film’s London premiere.
