His latest accomplishment comes with the debut of ‘Just Like Me,’ a collaboration with American rapper 21 Savage and music producer Metro Booming, entering the chart at position 67 on January 27, 2024.
‘Just Like Me’ adds to Burna Boy’s impressive list of Billboard Hot 100 entries, joining the ranks of his hit singles like ‘Last Last’ (2022), ‘Sittin’ On Top Of The World’ (2023) featuring 21 Savage, ‘Talibans II’ with Byron Messia (2023), and his collaboration with Justin Bieber on ‘Love By You’ (2021).
With this achievement, Burna Boy solidifies his position as the Nigerian artist with the most entries on the Billboard Hot 100, a record he currently shares with Nigerian singing sensation Tems. Notably, Burna Boy stands out as the sole African artist to debut at least one song on the Billboard Hot 100 for four consecutive years.
In addition to his Billboard success, Burna Boy is set to make history as the first African artist to perform live at the Grammys ceremony. This momentous occasion comes after his nomination in four categories at the 66th Grammy Awards scheduled for February 4, 2024.
