Trevor Stuurman is a leading light in South Africa’s and Africa’s creative community. His breakthrough came in 2012 when he was named ELLE’s Style Reporter and he has been on the rise ever since.
Influenced by a strong sense of style and curiosity, Stuurman has been involved with various projects that have moulded him into a well-rounded creative force. In addition to his urge for fashion,

Stuurman earned his postgraduate honours degree in Motion Picture at AFDA. His interest in filmmaking led to him co-directing a documentary project that traced fellow fashion designer Laduma Ngxokolo’s own path in the business.

Stuurman’s extremely great talents have taken him as far as Pitti Imagine in Italy, where he was one of six panelists representing Africa at one of the world’s most prestigious men’s fashion forums. He is also a trend consultant for Woolworths.
His keen eye for fashion has allowed Stuurman to make valuable contributions to several creative

publications including Edgars Club Magazine, Glamour, Markham Digital Magazine and Grazia. Stuurman also styled Markham’s 2014 Winter fashion campaign.
