Osas Ighodaro is stepping onto the global stage once again, this time in Cape Town.
The actress, producer, and all-round powerhouse has officially joined the cast of Boyz Trip, a South Africa-set action-comedy currently filming in Cape Town. And judging by the lineup, this is one project that’s already generating serious buzz.

Directed by Kyle Scott, the film follows four college friends whose annual getaway spirals into unexpected international chaos. What starts as a routine trip quickly turns into a survival mission, forcing them to rely on friendship, instinct, and a few questionable decisions to make it out.
Osas joins a dynamic, cross-continental cast including Woody McClain, Hakeem Kae-Kazim, Rome Flynn, Algee Smith, and Desi Banks, alongside Siv Ngesi. The ensemble continues to expand with talents like Ama Qamata, Thapelo Mokoena, Bohang Moeko, Ama K. Abebrese, Alessandra Fuller, and Francisca Aronsson.
Positioned as a true crossover moment, Boyz Trip blends Nollywood, Hollywood, and international film influences into one high-energy production. According to producer Autumn Bailey-Ford, the film brings together talent from across London, Nigeria, South Africa, Korea, and the United States, making it a genuinely global collaboration.

Behind the scenes, Emmy-nominated composers Kareem James and Marcus Ash are handling the score, while production is backed by KeyScott Entertainment, Canyon View Media, and Autumn Bailey Entertainment.
With filming already underway and a stacked cast driving the narrative, Boyz Trip is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated cross-industry releases of 2026.
