Wedding bells are officially ringing for Habeeb “Peller” Hamzat and Amadou “Jarvis” Elizabeth. The popular Nigerian TikTok personalities have taken the next big step in their love story, officially becoming husband and wife after exchanging vows in a civil wedding ceremony in Lagos.

Videos shared across social media on Wednesday captured the joyful moment as the couple signed their marriage documents at the registry, making their union official ahead of their highly expected white wedding.

The civil ceremony follows an important milestone in June when Peller travelled to Benin City, Edo State, to formally meet Jarvis’ family and complete the traditional marriage rites, including the payment of the bride price. With the legal ceremony now complete, all eyes are on their white wedding scheduled for August 1, which will mark the final celebration of their journey to marriage.

For the special occasion, the couple coordinated effortlessly in elegant off-white ensembles styled by Emmanuel Goodnews Icon, delivering one of the most polished celebrity civil wedding looks we’ve seen this year.

Peller opted for a timeless single-breasted off-white suit featuring structured shoulders and classic notch lapels. He paired the tailored look with a light blue dress shirt, a teal-and-blue patterned tie secured with a sleek silver tie bar, and dark blue leather dress shoes that subtly echoed the blue accents throughout the outfit.

Jarvis complemented her husband in a chic off-white textured tweed mini dress by Prudential. The design featured a square neckline accented with delicate blue floral line embroidery, layered beneath a matching cropped bolero jacket for a refined finish.

She completed the bridal look with a statement white fascinator positioned behind a sleek low bun, elegant drop earrings, embellished white pointed-toe pumps, and a bouquet of delicate baby’s breath. The thoughtful coordination between both outfits, from the matching ivory palette to the subtle blue details, created a sophisticated and harmonious wedding aesthetic.

Sharing the happy news with fans, the newlyweds kept their announcement simple yet heartfelt, captioning their post:

“Officially Mr. & Mrs. Civil wedding done…”

With the legal ceremony now behind them, Peller and Jarvis are officially counting down to what promises to be an even grander celebration when they walk down the aisle once again at their white wedding on August 1.
