Ghanaian superstar Stonebwoy clinched the coveted title of Best African Dancehall Entertainer at the 41st International Reggae and World Music Awards (IRWMA) held at the Lauderhill Performing Arts Center in Fort Lauderdale on March 22nd, 2024.

The event, themed “Reggae Rise,” not only celebrated exceptional musical talent but also promoted Health Awareness initiatives. Stonebwoy’s win underscores his remarkable talent and contribution to the African dancehall music scene.

The night also saw other African stars shine, with Nigerian sensation Wizkid winning the Best Afrobeat Entertainer award and Burna Boy securing three awards, including Best African Entertainer, Best Music Video, and Best Crossover Song for Talibans II. Additionally, Seun Paul was honored with the prestigious Emperor of Reggae & World Music award.
