House of Marie, the Nigerian luxury designed label has been famed for its quirky and whimsical aesthetic. For years House of Marie has catered to bold and multi-faceted transitional women with its unusual blend of fabrics and colours. However House of Marie doesn’t just aim at matured clienteles but younger ones as well.
As a brand mainly driven by art, House of Marie believes the body is a work of art. This brings me to the cut-out trend. It’s a provactive way to show off your body, however there’s a limit to avoid tackiness. While embrassing younger clients as well mature women who are totally fine with showing off a little skin, the brand has adopted this trend.
It is seen in the Ann Marie by House of Marie collection.
As well as the Spice TV runway fiesta deconstructed collection.
Even on the runway at Lagos Fashion and Design Week for the Spring Summer 2016 collection
