Sean “Diddy” Combs is facing serious allegations of sexual assault in a new lawsuit filed by Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones, a former producer and videographer for the music mogul. In the lawsuit, filed in New York federal court, Jones alleges that Combs sexually harassed, drugged, and threatened him over the course of more than a year.
Jones is seeking $30 million in damages, claiming that while producing songs for Combs’ Love album from September 2022 to November 2023, he experienced harassment and abuse that went beyond his role. Jones alleges that he was required to constantly record Combs and witnessed illegal activities.
The lawsuit also names Combs’ adult son, Justin, his chief of staff, Kristina Khorram, Universal Music Group CEO Sir Lucian Grainge, and former Motown Records CEO Ethiopia Habtemariam as defendants. Jones claims he was subjected to unsolicited touching and groping by Combs, who also allegedly showed him a recording of Stevie J engaged in sexual activity.
Jones further alleges that on Thanksgiving Day in 2022, he was sexually assaulted by the female cousin of Combs’ then-girlfriend, Yung Miami, in Combs’ presence. Jones also claims that Combs brought prostitutes into his Miami house and that he was drugged and possibly raped on one occasion.
In response to the lawsuit, Combs’ lawyer, Shawn Holley, called Jones a liar and stated that the claims are false. Justin Combs’ representative also denied the allegations, calling them lies and stating that there will be legal consequences for defamatory statements made about the Combs family.
