Eriata : I was born and brought up in Benin City Edo State
I am from the family of six, two boys and two girls including my mum and dad, I’m the last born of my family, from a Christian home
La Mode: HOW DID YOU START COMEDY?
Eriata: Comedy started long time ago but I never took it serious, I use to always crack jokes within my friends and they laugh so hard, everyone kept pushing me to try comedy so along the line i met neduwazobiafm he noticed my talent and gave me an opportunity to feature in one of his skit, that was how i started.
La Mode: WHEN DID YOU PROFESSIONALLY START COMEDY?
Eriata : I professionally started comedy March 27 2016 few months after relocating from Benin
La Mode: BEING A BEAUTY QUEEN AND A COMEDIENNE HOW DO YOU COMBINE BOTH
Eriata : Being a comedienne and a beauty queen at the same time is not a big deal because they are both my personality. In terms of office it is also not a big deal because it has to do with timing
La Mode: WHAT MAKES YOUR COMEDY DIFFERENT FROM OTHERS?
Eriata : I am not saying I am the best but my comedy seems to be different because it is all about where I come from (Edo state) even when the joke is not funny the expressions and the vocabulary would just want to make you laugh. Anything that can make you laugh has to be funny and anything that has to be funny is comedy. My combinations of words are epic and hilarious and the interesting part of it is that I come up with all the ideas so i think that is what makes me different
La Mode: HOW HAS THE INTERNET CONTRIBUTED TO YOUR BRAND ?
Eriata: The Internet has made a whole lot of people know my name and my face, I have gotten jobs through the Internet because of my comedy videos I get recognized whenever I go out and it makes me extremely happy because i never expected it to happen this fast. The internet has been very helpful.
La Mode: HOW WOULD YOU DISCRIBE YOU FASHION STYLE
Eriata : I would say my fashion style is classy and trendy, I try as much as possible not to wear an outfit of too many colors or an extremely busy outfit because that is not my style same goes to makeup it just has to be something that is not too serious because your personality also reflects on how u look. Your dressing determine how you want people to see you
