As the countdown to the 12th Green October Event begins, La Mode Magazine has unveiled Erica Nlewedim and Kola Omotoso as this year’s official hosts, and the pair are making their debut together on the cover of La Mode Volume 101, October 2026.
Photographed by Tonie Grapher, the cover puts emerald green front and centre, with both hosts offering their own take on the colour.
Erica brings the full red-carpet moment in an off-shoulder mermaid gown covered in sequins, beads and floral embroidery. Sheer sleeves add another layer of detail, while her radiant smile keeps the look glamorous without feeling overly serious.
Kola takes a more tailored approach. His rich green velvet ensemble pairs sparkling embellishment across the shoulders with a sharp shirt and trousers, finished with his signature sunglasses. Together, the contrasting looks make the cover feel less like a matching moment and more like two different interpretations of the same Green October mood.
Holding their La Mode awards, the hosts also give the cover a clear preview of what the event represents — fashion, entertainment, creativity and Nigerian excellence.
But Volume 101 is not stopping at the cover.
The October issue features a mix of style and lifestyle stories, including “10 Top Fashionable Celebrities,” “5 Fashion Tips to Get You Started,” and “15 Healthy Lifestyle Habits.” It is an issue built around looking good, living well and getting into the spirit of the season.
The print edition is available for ₦6,000, while the E-copy costs ₦2,500. Readers can scan the QR code on the cover or purchase through La Mode’s usual channels.
And with Erica Nlewedim and Kola Omotoso leading the Green October celebration, the cover is only the beginning.
The countdown is officially on.
