It’s been a season of milestones for the Kosoko family and the celebrations just keep getting bigger.

Just weeks after welcoming their second child, Simi marked her 38th birthday on April 19, 2026, with a mix of heartfelt reflection, stunning portraits, and one unforgettable surprise.

Taking to social media, the singer—fondly known as “Omo Shola” and “Omo Charlie Champagne”—shared a series of birthday photos alongside a candid note about the past year. She described it as “big, long, heavy, and blessed,” expressing gratitude for her faith and the people who stood by her through it all. In true Simi fashion, she added a playful twist, joking that if she wasn’t spotted out celebrating, it might be time to alert the authorities.

But the real headline moment came courtesy of her husband, Adekunle Gold.

Known for his romantic gestures, Adekunle Gold surprised Simi with a brand-new Mercedes-Benz GLE-Class and a diamond ring, elevating the birthday celebration into full luxury territory. Sharing a clip of the emotional reveal, Simi kept it simple and telling, captioning the moment: “soft n spoiled.”

Adekunle Gold paired the gift with a deeply personal tribute, describing Simi as his calm in a constantly moving world and his ultimate creative inspiration. He wrote about loving her beyond words or music, calling her the “Blue Fire” that fuels his life.

The birthday celebration adds another highlight to what has already been a landmark year for the couple. From celebrating their seventh wedding anniversary in January to expanding their family in March, the Kosokos are clearly in a season defined by love, growth, and shared joy.

And if this birthday is anything to go by, they’re not slowing down anytime soon.
