There are moments that feel like they arrive wrapped in softness, gratitude, and joy, and Sharon Ooja’s latest life update sits exactly in that space. The Nollywood actress and her husband, Ugo Nwoke, have welcomed their first child together, a baby boy, marking a deeply personal new chapter just under two years after their June 2024 wedding.

Sharon shared the news in an intimate Instagram announcement that blended maternity portraits with a heartfelt reflection, revealing that her son’s initials are W.I.N., a detail that quickly became the emotional centre of her message. She also signed off simply as “Mama Win,” a name that now feels like both a declaration and a blessing.

The announcement comes less than two years after her widely celebrated three-part wedding journey in 2024, which included traditional, civil, and white ceremonies that captured widespread attention across Nollywood and lifestyle circles. Now, that public love story has quietly expanded into motherhood.

Alongside the announcement, Sharon also shared maternity photos that had already been kept private throughout her pregnancy. In the images, she embraces a stripped-back, grounded aesthetic: a minimalist black bralette paired with oversized cargo trousers in an earthy grey-taupe tone, layered with a relaxed button-down shirt tied at the waist. Her natural curls were styled in a voluminous, cloud-like texture, while Ugo Nwoke stood beside her, matching her energy in a simple, affectionate pose that reflected ease and partnership.

Her caption carried the emotional weight of the moment. “I just gave birth to the most handsome baby boy I have ever seen,” she wrote, adding that the years 2025 to 2026 have been divinely orchestrated into what she described as one of the most beautiful seasons of her life. She credited the experience entirely to faith, expressing gratitude for the story she believes has been written for her.

She also paid tribute to her husband in deeply personal words, acknowledging his presence throughout the pregnancy. From reassurance and emotional support to everyday gestures back rubs, food runs, trips, and constant care—Sharon described him as unwaveringly present through every stage of the journey.

The arrival of baby W.I.N. also places Sharon within a growing wave of Nollywood stars embracing motherhood in 2026. Designer Veekee James recently welcomed her daughter, Eliana Adeife Atere, on 2 May 2026, while actress Ini Dima-Okojie announced her pregnancy just last month.
