Janet Jackson, Naomi Campbell, Mary J. Blige, Judith Jamison, Tarana J. Burke, Lena Waithe honored at 2018 Black Girls Rock!

The Black Girls Rock! 2018 Show held over the weekend at NJPAC on Sunday night (August 26) in Newark, New Jersey.

The show was hosted by Queen Latifah and stars like Mary J. Blige, Naomi Campbell, Judith Jamison and Janet Jackson were among the honorees of the night.

Supermodel Naomi Campbell was honored with the Black Girl Magic Award, actress and singer Mary J. Blige was honored with the Star Power Award, pop icon Janet Jackson was honored with the Rock Star Award, actress and director Lena Waithe was honored with the Shot Caller Award, activist and advocate Tarana J. Burke was honored with the Community Change Agent Award and dancer and choreographer Judith Jamison was honored with the Living Legend Award.

The event was also attended by Naturi Naughton, Ava Duvernay, Millen Magese, Misty Copeland, Fantasia, Lil Mama, Skai Jackson, Angela Simmons, Ciara, Cynthia Erivo, Jazmine Sullivan, Yolanda Adams, Storm Reid, Leomie Anderson and more.
